Preparation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants that could affect adhesion.
  
• For new wood, apply one coat of Sandtex Trade Flexible Primer Undercoat.
  
• For greyed or weathered wood, sand back to a clean and smooth surface.
  
• For previously painted surfaces, clean thoroughly and abrade with wet and dry abrasive paper to create a suitable key. Apply one coat of Sandtex Trade Flexible Primer Undercoat.
  

 

Application

It's recommended to perform a test patch on the surface to be painted to ensure satisfaction with the final appearance.

• Stir the paint thoroughly and apply using a brush or roller.
  
• Apply evenly and generously without over-spreading.
  
• Apply 1-2 coats as necessary, allowing 16 hours between coats.
  
• Strong colours may require an additional coat for complete coverage.
  
• Avoid applying when temperatures are expected to drop below 5°C or when relative humidity exceeds 80% during application or drying.
