Preparation

Ensure the surface is thoroughly prepared to achieve the best finish. It must be clean, dry, and free from anything that could affect adhesion.

For new surfaces, minimal preparation is generally needed, but ensure the surface has fully cured. Glossy surfaces should be sanded to create a suitable base. Remove loose or flaking material by scraping or using a stiff bristle brush. Treat any areas with organic growth by applying Sandtex Fungicidal Wash as per the manufacturer's instructions. Porous or chalky surfaces should be treated with Sandtex Trade Stabilising Solution before applying Sandtex Trade 365 All Weather Masonry Paint.

 

Application

Always perform a test patch on the surface to ensure satisfaction with the final appearance. Ensure packs are intermixed for consistent colour. Stir well before use and apply using a 4-inch masonry brush, roller, or airless sprayer. Textured surfaces may require a roller with a long pile or an airless sprayer for optimal results. Allow 16 hours between coats; apply two coats for the best finish. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions provided on the container.
