Biokil Crown Mould Wash Concentrate is a professional-strength surface biocide designed to prepare interior and exterior surfaces by effectively removing mould, mildew, algae and moss prior to painting or waterproofing.
What it does
Formulated to eradicate mould, mildew, algae and lichen from porous and non-porous surfaces, it pre-treats substrates to ensure a clean, contamination-free base before coatings are applied. The product is suitable for use on masonry, render, tiles, wood and painted surfaces.
Economical and practical
The concentrate is typically diluted at 1:19 (1 part concentrate to 19 parts clean water). A 250 ml bottle yields up to 5 litres of working solution, covering around 50–60 m² depending on porosity. Heavy contamination may require a second application.
How to use
- Mix a working solution by combining 1 part concentrate with 19 parts clean water (1:19).
- Apply to affected areas using a brush, sponge or sprayer, ensuring surfaces are thoroughly wetted.
- Allow the treated area to dry completely. Typical drying time is 1–4 hours, depending on ambient conditions.
- If heavy contamination remains, re-apply and then re-check for dampness before painting or sealing.
